Lt Adnan bin Saidi contributions to the war

Lt Adnan bin saidi held off the Japanese for two days during the battle of Pasir Panjang. he is most notably credited as the soldier who caught the disguised of the "Indian troops" marching error in four which was the Japanese marching style instead of a line of three, which was the British marching style. And his favourite saying, 'Death before dishonour'
Eventually, Adnan was shot but he carried on fighting until he succumbed to his injury. After the battle was lost, the Japanese soldiers tied his body to a cherry tree and bayoneted it.
